Welcome to the Schnitzhof apartment house in Abtenau, Hallein District, a place for your splendid holiday. Farm of the Schnitzhofer family offers cozy apartments with shower, toilet, kitchen, TV and balcony. In summer we'll gladly offer you delicious fresh produce of our farm for you to enjoy during your stay.

The apartment house is discrete and it's possible to book it as a whole for families or groups. Individual apartments are spacious and comfortably furnished. Large common room provides an opportunity to meet together while individual apartments give space for private relaxation.

Abtenau is a good trip destination for both summer and winter tourists and cross-country skiers. There are also numerous sledge runs in the immediate vicinity. The Lammertal valley is best known for their riding horses.

Postalm area

The Postalm, where our alpine cheese dairy is located, is a great place for hiking. It lies near Strobl on Wolfgangsee and is surrounded by many historical sights - Hallstatt, Bad Ischl, St. Wolfgang, Wolfgangsee, Schafbergbahn and many more. In addition to hiking, the area is interesting also for climbers, who will find the Postalmklamm via ferrata here.
