Surroundings
Summer The Postalm area, where's our chalet located, is an ideal place for hiking and cycling. For rock climbers, there's also a Klettersteig Postalm. There're ice and salt caves near the historical town Hallstatt, which worth a visit. There are some pellucid lakes around - Wolfgangsee, Hallstätter See, Gosausee and so on.
Winter There are many skiing facilities near our farm. In winter, there is a machine maintained track for crosscountry skiing just behing the house. There are several ski restorts for downhill skiing near the house. The three nearest ski resorts are shown on the map. The Dachstein West ski area consists of the Gosau, Russbach and Annaberg ski resorts. You have just a single ticket for all theese ski resorts so you can ski across them freely.
